Rules

All rules are subject to change as deemed necessary by ShoreSMP Staff.

I. General Platform Rules

These rules apply across all ShoreSMP platforms (In-game, Discord, etc.).

I. General Rules

1.1

Payment Integrity

No chargebacks of any payments are permitted.

Violation will result in a permanent IP-ban from all ShoreSMP platforms.

1.2

Personal Information

No leaking, releasing, or threatening to release any player's personal information (doxxing).

Violation will result in a permanent IP-ban from all ShoreSMP platforms.

1.3

Account Authenticity

No use of free or compromised accounts (e.g., NFA or SFA accounts).

1.4

Rule Loopholes

Do not exploit loopholes or unclear wording—follow the intent of the rules.

1.5

Encouraging Rule-Breaking

Do not encourage or help others break rules.

1.6

External Scamming

No IRL (real-life) or off-platform scamming.

1.7

Screen Sharing

If frozen by a screen-share verified staff member, you must comply and follow instructions. Failure to comply will result in a longer ban in comparison to admitting to cheating or being caught in the Screen Share. If the staff member is not verified, you may refuse and report it.

II. Communication Offenses (Chat, Voice Chat & Discord)

Applies to in-game chat, voice chat (including proximity chat), Discord (text/voice), and DMs.

A. General Misconduct

2.1

Spamming & Flooding

No spam, flooding, mic spam, or using soundboards at spawn or in the pvp areas like crystal and sword.

Staff Clarification: Punish if 4+ similar messages are sent when slow-chat is off, or if the entire chat is excessively flooded when slow-chat is on.

2.2

Toxicity & Annoyance

No harassment, excessive negativity, insults, or repeated “L/ez”.

2.3

Bypassing Filters

Do not bypass chat or voice filters.

2.4

Advertising

No promoting other servers, Discords, or unrelated content.

2.5

Misuse of Commands

Do not misuse commands like /report.

2.6

Inappropriate Content

No NSFW content, offensive skins/usernames, or explicit audio.

2.7

Sensitive Topics

Avoid topics that cause major conflict or disruption.

Foreign languages

No languages other than English.

B. Severe Communication Offenses

Hate Speech & Derogatory Remarks

No slurs or discriminatory language (text or voice).

Threats of Harm

  • Death threats toward individuals or groups

  • Encouraging self-harm (e.g., “kys”)

Cyber Threats

Threats to DDoS, dox, or SWAT players (jokes included).

Penalty: Permanent IP-ban across all platforms.

Disrespecting the Deceased

Not allowed.

C. Discord Rules

Discord TOS

All users must follow Discord Terms of Service.

Private Channels

Rules still apply in private chats and voice channels.

III. Staff & Server Integrity

3.1

Lying to Staff

No false or misleading information.

3.2

Staff Harassment & Disrespect

No harassment or disrespect toward staff.

3.3

Staff Impersonation

Do not pretend to be staff.

3.4

Forging Proof

No fake or outdated evidence.

IV. Severe Actions

4.1

DDoS / Doxxing Execution

Launching Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks against the server or players, or releasing a player’s personal information (Doxxing).

Violation will result in a permanent IP ban across all ShoreSMP platforms.

V. Evasion & Trading

5.1

Evasion

No bypassing bans or mutes using alternate accounts.

5.2

Alt Accounts

Maximum of 4 alt accounts (excluding your main account).

UNLESS you have Titan rank, you get 5 alt accounts MAX.

5.3

IRL Trading

No trading in-game items or currency for real-world money or goods.

VI. Gameplay Abuse

6.1

Stat & Bounty Boosting

No boosting stats or bounties using alts or selling kills.

Penalty Note: Can result in disqualification from leaderboard prizes.

6.2

Spawn Griefing

Lava casting or griefing near spawn is NOT allowed.

6.3

Illegal Items

No possessing or withholding illegal/unobtainable items.

6.4

Inappropriate Structures

No offensive or inappropriate builds.

Destroying the server

Flooding the server, lava casting, etc.

VII. Gameplay Exploits & Cheating

7.1

Cheating / Blacklisted Modifications

No hacked clients or unfair mods.

Note: Minimum 30 seconds of video proof is required for most offenses (exceptions may apply for obvious hacks like flying).

7.2

Auto Clicking / Macros / Bots

No auto-clickers, macros, or automated gameplay.

7.3

Bug Abusing & Duping

No exploiting bugs or duplication glitches.

Penalty Note: Can result in disqualification from leaderboard prizes.

7.4

Failure to Report

Not reporting known exploits is punishable.

7.5

Aiding a Cheater

Helping or benefiting from cheaters is not allowed.

7.6

Server Lag

Building anything with the sole intention of causing server lag will result in a permanent season ban.

  • 8.1.11 Cosmetic Texture Packs

  • 8.1.12 Anything that doesn’t give you an advantage and is strictly client-side

8.2 Disallowed Mods / Programs

  • 8.2.1 Hack / Cheat Clients

  • 8.2.2 Item Scroller

  • 8.2.3 Accurate Block Placement

  • 8.2.4 Tweakaroo

  • 8.2.5 Optimal Aim

  • 8.2.6 Auto Clickers (except as stated in 8.3.3)

  • 8.2.7 EasyPlace

  • 8.2.8 Durability Texture Packs

  • 8.2.9 X-Ray Texture Packs

  • 8.2.10 Any type of ESP

  • 8.2.11 Any sort of minimap/radar/world map

  • 8.2.12 Multi keybinds

8.3 Restricted Behavior

8.3.1

Any program or modification that provides unfair advantages or automates gameplay actions

External Macros, Scripts, Mouse input rebinding

Auto Clicker Exception

Auto clickers may only be used in designated AFK areas strictly for the purpose of staying online.

They must not be used for combat, farming, PvP, or any gameplay advantage outside of AFK areas.

9.1 Required Services

9.1.1

Enabled Services Requirement

All players must have the following Windows services enabled during a screen share. Disabling or tampering with these services may be treated as suspicious or non-compliance.

9.2 Service Verification

9.2.1

Checking Service Status

Players may be required to verify that all required services are enabled.

Steps:

  • Press Windows + R

  • Type cmd

  • Press Control + Shift + Enter

  • Paste the following command and press Enter

  • Check the "Service Status" section for any disabled (red) services
